About David DuPuy
David DuPuy is a New York City based photographer specializing in family portraiture, professional headshots, event and product photography.
“One of the most exciting things about being a photographer is the special opportunity it offers to connect with another person, with the life of an object, or the essence of a moment or scene. My clients have become my friends and I enjoy getting to know them, discovering what makes everyone unique, and transmitting that through my work. The possibilities for capturing a person’s individual identity or memorializing a moment make this a truly worthwhile experience. I look forward to working with you.” -David.
For twelve years David has worked to develop his artistry behind the camera. He has produced images for magazines, fashion designers, actors, models, political organizations, and businesses; and donated his photographic services to various nonprofit organizations and emerging artists.
His professional experience includes a career as an accomplished workforce development manager with an exceptional track record in creating partnerships with major NYC employers for placement of at-risk youth and ex-offenders. He has authored instructional program manuals, and has been a lead presenter and trainer for Youthbuild and Goodwill Industries. David has also done extensive work in home theatre design and programming for prominent business leaders and Hollywood celebrities. He holds a Masters of Arts in Philosophy.
In addition to his photographic work, David serves as the Board Chair of the Center for Workplace Development, in Sterling, Virginia and is the founder and moderator of World Cinema Classics, a club for film enthusiasts with over 400 members.”
